Guangdong Komo Group Co., Ltd. (Komo, stock code 874122), established in 2004 in Guangdong China, is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the development, production, and sales of pine chemicals. It currently holds 13 subsidiary companies.
Komo has strong research and development capabilities, comprehensive technical and quality system, as well as stable and sustainable customer partnerships. As the leading supplier of pine chemicals in China, Komo has participated in the formulation of Chinese national standards for the rosin industry many times. It is one of the main suppliers of rosin esters in the world as well.
"Self-sufficient raw material, environmental-friendly product, high-end application" is Komo’s corporate strategy. It focuses on the vertically integrated chain from pine tree cultivation to rosin deep processing, giving full play to the "bio-based", "biodegradable", "environmental-friendly" features of its products. Bearing the corporate vision of "to provid premium bio-based chemicals for humankind" in mind, Komo contributes its effort to the world in achieving "carbon peaking" and “carbon neutrality" goals.
Komo has over 50 full-time research and development technicians, including doctors and masters in the rosin deep processing industry, as well as experts who previously worked for the Guangzhou Institute of Chemistry and Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Komo R&D Center has a laboratory of about 3000 square meters, equipped with various experimental equipment and testing instruments required for the R&D of rosin and turpentine. It also has two advanced pilot-scale test workshops and one trial production workshop, achieving seamless integration from research and development to production.
Over the years, Komo has established Industry-University collaboration with well-known universities and scientific research institutions in China to improve technological innovation and product development ability.
By the end of 2023, Komo owns over 70 patents. Multiple inventions were recognized as China's National High-tech Products and National Key Innovative Products.
